You find yourself in the manga section of a bookstore, carefully scanning the titles looking for a new and exciting read. All the bright, colorful titles stare back as you try to decide where to start. We’ve all been there, with so many options it’s hard to decide sometimes. If only you had some inkling on where to start. Here are just some of the titles to look out for! Well, now’s the time of year that new titles are being released, and so far, we’ve got some very exciting releases from 2022. Here are some of the titles that I am most excited about.
Banished From the Hero’s Party, I decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside
Expected Release Date: March 22, 2022 Publisher: Yen Press

Don’t let the mouth full of a title scare you off! This manga, based on the light novel of the same name, Banished from the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside is a promising title written by Zappon and illustrated by Yasuma and Masahiro Ikeno is an adventure fantasy story that follows our protogynous, Red who, despite being the bearer of the powerful Divine Blessin of the Guild, was banished from his Hero’s party. He lays plans to spend his days working as an apothecary in the frontier. However, keeping his old life secret may not be as simple as he hopes.
From this short synopsis, it's a little hard to get a detailed idea of what you'll be reading, and I personally have not checked out the light novel this is based on. Though I think it's safe to say that if you like adventure fantasies, you'll like Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside.

Greed and desire start to warp Alice’s ordinary reality and she is thrust into a dark game of slaughter made by fairy-tale heroines who will stop at nothing to bring their creators back to life! Try as she might ignore the dreams, Alice is drawn to this new violent, twisted universe.
Be sure to leave the lights on after you finish this horror manga. It seems to have the potential to leave you hiding under the covers!

Although she seems to know an awful lot about him and soon makes a confession that bends Ichiro's mind beyond the confines of Earth...
Does this manga have the potential to be the next Fruits Basket? Based on the synopsis, this seems like it could be a beautiful heartwarming story with some comedy and secrets thrown in. Definitely seems to be a very compelling plot.
These are only some of the new titles to be on the look for 2022, so if these don't spark your interest keep looking! With the popularity of anime and manga rapidly growing in the United States we can be sure that we will only get more and more media imported.
